Alumnae Panhellenic
Providing Public High School Women Scholarship Opportunities Since 1954
Greetings from Coachella Valley Alumnae Panhellenic.
CVAP invites you to learn more about our organization, and we look forward to getting to know you!
This Alumnae Panhellenic, known locally as the Coachella Valley Alumnae Panhellenic or CVAP, is open to all women who were sorority members in their college years. Panhellenic is an organization that believes strongly in the benefits of sorority membership.
CVAP was established to foster friendship among any alumnae who attended one of the twenty-six sororities that belong to the National Panhellenic Conference, or NPC. CVAP does this at monthly business meetings followed by luncheons from November to April; these are held on the second Thursday of each month. On the first Saturday in May, at its annual Scholarship Luncheon, CVAP presents scholarships to young woment from the Valley's public high schools.
Members enjoy fellowship while learning from locally and nationally known speakers.
We have great opportunities for members' leadership skills in our chosen philanthropy, one that provides scholarships to our ten local public high school senior women who have qualified for university acceptance at an NPC school. We are proud of the number of scholarships we have provided since 1954!
Enjoy browsing this site to learn more about CVAP. We encourage you to come and meet some of your sorority sisters and see what CVAP has to offer you.
